Maternity Pictures/ June 24th Appt

Well on monday we got maternity pictures. It was hard to let the belly out but i think some came out good. I am not comfortable with them all so here is a preview instead.

Dr. Appt went well. Said the head was still floating so i have at least two more weeks. He plans on doing another ultrasound soon though to make sure everything is still good. Heart beat was 142 and strong. I was afraid it had changed positions but the doctor says its still head down.

Furniture update: it is on its way. I will most likely have it before giving birth. It would be nice to put the clothes and everything where it goes!!

June 17th Appt

Let the weekly appts begin. Nothing new. Dr. says it is a big baby but that i seem to be handling it well. It doesnt should like he is too concerned about the baby getting too big anymore. Maybe he knows something from the ultrasound he isnt sharing. Anyways now it is just a waiting game for the baby to make its move!

36 week ultrasound

The baby is in the position to evacuate. It wasnt very cooperative during the ultrasound so the pictures arent that cute. The tech said it was being stubborn. It had all the organs in all the places it should of. Next time we see the baby it will be on its birthday!!!!!

June 10th Appt

Yesterday I had another dr. appt. Everything is still going great. The baby's Heart rate was 160. My b/p is still low and good. I have been changed to weekly visits. I guess i should have my bag packed by now but i hate packing. They did some labs and set me up for my last ultrasound on friday. We are nearing the finish line now!!!

Latest Update

Had a doctor's appt on May 27th. All is still going perfect he says. Baby's heart rate was 152. Just waiting to see when the little guy or gal will come.

We ordered our baby furniture but it is backordered until the first of July. We might not have it before the baby arrives. We purchased a pack and play for our bedroom and it has everything we need until the furniture gets here.

We missed our window of opportunity to get the 4D ultrasound. After the first time was a mess we went in again a week later and they still didnt know what they were doing and the machines were broken. What made it worse was they told us we should of called but they had told us prior thwy would call if it wasnt going to work out. Oh well. An adventure we can do with the next.

Another Dr. Appt May 14th

Today the appt went well. The doctor was concerns about the swelling in my hands and feet saying it was a little early but that it happens. My blood pressure was good though and they did a urine test just to make sure. We are just going to keep an eye on things. The babies heart rate was 153. I cant wait to be done and let the fun begin.

Purchased cloth diapers today (yes we know we are crazy). They are really cool though because they have biodegradable liners that you can toss or flush. Its all the benefits of cloth diapers without the hassle. Cant wait to see if they work!

4-D Sonogram First Attempt

Yesterday we had a 4-D sonogram to just see the baby and get some needed encouragement and excitement. We went down to the radiology and they had accidentally scheduled me for it in Lancaster. They had the machine to do the ultrasound but not the printer. They lady said my face looked so disappointed she at least had to let me see the baby and she needed to practice with the new machine. The pictures aren't that good cause like i said there was no printer but she played with the baby for a while so we could see it. It was sucking its thumb or rubbing its eyes the whole time. We saw it breathing(just to practice), she said the palette of the mouth is closed(no cleft lip), the diaphragm was closed and working(important for breathing), the heart was beating great, the bladder was full(it was swallowing amniotic fluid and the kidneys are working), and it was moving around alot(i didnt need a sonogram to tell you that).

We will try again next week when they have a printer.

It is sucking its thumb with the index finger curled over the nose.

Oh how precious and sweet the baby looks!

Cute baby face! Big cheeks , two eyes, nose and lips. On the baby's right eye is the hand again.
